Just letting you know some of the upcoming events in the Children’s Room this spring. Ms. Jenn and the Nutrition Detective will visit us three more times ~ Tuesdays, Apr. 3rd, May 1st and Jun. 5th. We will have stories, songs and a craft at 10:00am for preschoolers. Wetlands: Habitats presented by LC Bates Museum on Tuesday, Apr. 17th at 10:00 am during school vacation week. We will have stories, songs and a craft at 10:00am for preschoolers.   Nocturnal Animals presented by LC Bates Museum on Tuesday, Feb. 20th at 10:00am during school vacation week.   We will show a Movie on Thursday, Feb. 22nd at 10:00am. Programs in the Children’s Room

We have some great children’s groups that meet during the week. Maybe you can join us sometime. Tuesday @ 10:30 is Storytime. I read 3 to 4 books and have a song to go along with the stories. Then we do a craft each week with the help of a volunteer. This helps the children with their fine motor skills. We cut or paste or paint. Anything to keep our hands and minds busy.   Tuesday, February 16th, @ 10:30 we have a special event by Tina Wood. She will tell a fishy tale of the alewives swimming home on Cobbossee …
