Summer Reading Wrap-up
Eighty-two children registered into the Summer Reading Program this summer and 32 finished. We have not had numbers like this since 2014. This was the first time we participated in the Summer Food Program, sponsored by SKCDC (Southern Kennebec Child Development Corporation). Free lunches were served on Tuesdays for those 18 or under. We are hoping to expand this program in 2020 to lunches every weekday for our children. Our Stuffed animal sleepover was a huge success. We had 46 stuffed animals spend the night in the library.
