I am usually recommending books for the children, so this time I thought I would recommend some music CD’s for children. Some we have in, and others I am planning to buy in the month of December. Music in the library!

How about a musical blast from the 1960s?  Aside from having musical CDs by some great girl groups (The Supremes, The Ronettes, The Shangri-Las) and some super boy bands (The Rascals, Lovin’ Spoonful, The Monkees), the library also has two specialty CDs that feature this era.  The first is a CD that is set up as if you were listening to a radio show from 1967.  It presents popular songs of that year complete with commercials and features Dr. Don Rose, the disc jockey from WQXL in Atlanta.  The other item is a series produced by Time-Life that each focuses …
